Child of God Lutheran School News

May 5 is STL Day!  Please join us tomorrow for Give STL Day and see how we can impact current and future Child of God students through this single day of giving. Help us continue to provide a quality Christ-centered education for the community equipping disciples for Christ Jesus by sharing our mission with other donors who have a heart for Christian education.

Online donations begin at midnight on May 5th and continue for 24 hours.  To participate go to the Give STL Day button on the Child of God school website at

https://givestlday.org//#npo/child-of-god-lutheran-school

 or at givestlday.org.

Give STL Day is a big, bold opportunity for us and for our community.  A partnership between the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation and local nonprofits from across the area.  Give STL Day is an online day of giving where nonprofits like ours will be reaching out to our donors – and looking for new ones – as we educate them about our mission and raise operations funds.  Give STL Day generated a total of $1.1 million for the 528 participating nonprofits who participated last year.

A virtual event with a personal touch.  The Give STL Day website will make giving easy, safe and fun.  By visiting  https://givestlday.org//#npo/child-of-god-lutheran-school on May 5, you can designate gifts specifically to Child of God School and help to promote Christian Education in our community.  At the same time, you can help Child of God raise essential support, and earn matching funds.

We need your help in spreading the word about GiveSTL Day in general and also in sharing all the wonderful things Child of God is doing so others will choose to support us too.  Don’t just think locally…because donations can be made online, reach out to your family and friends across the counry that have a heart for Christian education and ask for their support too.

Visit www.givestlday.org for additional details, and don’t forget to give on May 5!

or after hours by appointment

Child of God Lutheran School provides a unique learning environment where we grow happy kids, from two-year- old pre-schoolers to eighth graders ready for high school!  Our mission is to provide quality, faith-based education for the community and to make and equip disciples of Christ Jesus.

We are excited about our ministry opportunities because, through the work of the Holy Spirit, we help children develop spiritually strong hearts and academically strong minds.  Our growing physical education program helps students develop strong, healthy bodies.

Our curriculum provides instruction in comprehensive academic areas through a variety of teaching methods, while integrating Christ and biblical teachings in all classes.  Each teacher identifies and addresses the individual needs of students within the classroom setting.

Call the school office at 636/970-7080 to arrange for a tour of the school and/or to pick up an enrollment packet.  We would be happy to welcome YOU into the Child of God family!
